I'm doing the two Polls below and I intend to give the results to Jesse in written form.

No, it's definitly not odd.

I think that artists need some kind of feedback from time to time not only on their music.
The poll about his smile is self explaining. It gives a feedback on whether the view that Jesse himself has on his smile is what others may think about it.

The poll about the hairdo of course also has a reason. The psychology of perception tells that people have fixed preferences from early childhood on whether they prefer accoustic or visual input.
This applies to learning processes (at school or university), but also to an audience in a music concert and fans.
20% of people are influenced almost only by sound.
20% of people are influenced almost only by vision
60% of people are influenced by both sound and vision in different variances.
If you add that, you might find out that from 100% of Jesse's Fans 80% are influenced by his music in different intensity and 80% are influenced by how he looks in different intensity.

And if you look through the History of Pop and Rock music you may find out that many acts have vanished not for musical reasons but because they changed their look the wrong way.
Examples for this are from the mid-eighties British singer Limahl or from the late nineties Canadian Band The Moffatts.

And the reason ist that as you might learn from above, 80% of the Fans are more or less influenced by the look of an act, and this applies to Jesse's Fans and the Fans of all other music acts worldwide as well.

D'après ce que j'ai compris, il parle du vote(pour le sourir de Jesse)

Il parle des pourcentages de gens qui aime les star, par leur sourir , par leur musique...bon je c pas si j'ai bien compri^^
